Goodbye……

this was my third job ever, in 1993. for minimum wage, of course; I was a hostess in a suburb of ATL. the uniform was ridiculous: pantyhose (nude), navy flats, khaki knee-length skirt, long-sleeved white button down shirt, blue blazer, and a mostly red tie. I had tie-tying down to a science. I’ve since lost that particular talent, but as I am not prone to wearing them, I imagine I shall persevere.
I was still surprised by what I’m calling the “resurgence” of this place—so interpreted by me mostly because of the lack of any Ruby Tuesday locations near me when I was growing up.
But in the past two years, I’ve seen more than a few either pop up or clean themselves up and it was surprising to see how well they came out of that steak test back in April.
